CAL Technology Office
The CAL Technology Office is a cooperative effort between the Associate Dean for Research and Scholarship, The CAL Academic Technology Office, the Division of Engineering Computer Services (DECS), Technology Pod Leaders from within CAL Units, and the College Technology Committee.
The Pod Leaders, along with the Associate Dean for Research andScholarship, Chair of the College Technology Committee and a representative from DECS make up the CAL Technology Office operating committee. The operating committee makes decisions on a day-to-day basis for how computing happens in the College with input from the College Technology Committee as needed.
IT services such as email, calendaring, file sharing, printing and computer images are provided by DECS in collaboration with the CAL Technology Office. Desktop support is a collaboration between the CAL Technology Office and DECS.

The College Technology Committee
The College Technology Committee meets on a monthly basis during the academic year and serves as a forum to discuss new policies, procedures and collaborations surrounding technology in the College.
The committee consists of a representative from each department, members of the CAL technology operating committee, and the Associate Dean for Research and Scholarship.
The College of Arts and Letters Academic Technology Office
The College of Arts and Letters Academic Technology Office provides resources and support for technology use in teaching, learning, and research. We work with faculty on including in-class technology as well as online and hybrid course offerings. We also help support technology use in research through consulting and offer pre- and post-award support.
The Academic Technology Office offers a variety of consulting and support services ranging from brainstorming about using technology in your classes to online and blended course evaluations to custom built web applications.
