Scheduled for October 12-14, MSU’s Homecoming 2012 is a fun-filled weekend of activities worth returning to campus for!
HOMECOMING PARADE
Help kick off Homecoming weekend with Friday evening's Homecoming Parade “Spartans Will Make History.” The parade steps off at 6:00 pm on Abbot Road and continues east down Grand River Avenue in East Lansing. This year’s parade Grand Marshal will be MSU Athletic Director Mark Hollis. Get there early to grab a spot along the parade route and cheer on participants such as the Spartan Marching Band, various student organizations, athletic teams, MSU Homecoming Court, distinguished alumni and more!
CAL HOMECOMING TENT PARTY
Jump start game day at the CAL Homecoming tent located on the south side of Adams field just west of the Music Building and directly across from the IM Sports Circle building. See the MSU Interactive Map here: http://maps.msu.edu/interactive/
The tent party celebration is from 9:00 am – 11:30 am and will include food, beverages, live entertainment, games, an interactive activity for kids of all ages led by our friends at the MSU Writing Center, a performance by the MSU Pompon Team, as well as special CAL 50th Anniversary fun including the announcement of the winning College of Arts and Letters Favorite Song from 1962-63!
