National and International Fellowships and Scholarships

The College of Arts & Letters encourages qualified students to apply for National and International Fellowships and Scholarships. These nationally-competitive awards typically provide funding and support for graduate and/or international study in a variety of fields. Previous CAL students have been awarded Boren, Marshall, and Mitchell scholarships, just to name a few.

Upcoming Opportunities

Are you a high-achieving undergraduate student who may be interested in pursuing graduate studies in the U.K.? The NIFS Office works directly with students applying for the Rhodes, Marshall, Mitchell, Gates Cambridge and Churchill Scholarships. Applications for these awards must be submitted through the NIFS Office. The internal deadline to apply is August 1, 2018.

For more information on any of these opportunities, CAL students should visit nifs.msu.edu or contact Sarah Whitaker at whitak41@msu.edu.
