The new episode of the Liberal Arts Endeavor Podcast is out! Our host, Dean Christopher P. Long, spoke with Deric McNish, Assistant Professor of acting, voice, and speech and Director for the BFA in Acting program here at MSU.

The two discuss the origins of the Department of Theatre’s podcast, Syllable of Recorded Time, which was created by McNish with a goal to put Shakespeare in context for today’s audiences. Dean Long and McNish also delve into McNish’s career journey, his experiences at MSU, and how to address issues of accessibility in theatre.
