College to Welcome New Senior Director of Development

Christine Radtke will begin as the new Senior Director of Development for the College of Arts & Letters on Monday, December 18.

Radtke comes to MSU from Chicago where she’s had a robust career as a senior development professional.

“I am thrilled to join the College of Arts & Letters in the midst of a fundraising campaign that has achieved incredible momentum,” Radtke said. “I am excited for the opportunity to help sustain and build on that progress, and help to advance the College to a position of international leadership.”

With more than 20 years of experience in fundraising, Radtke currently serves as Senior Development Manager for the American Orthopedic Association in Rosemont, Illinois. Prior to that, she was the Director of Major Gifts for Northern Illinois University for five years.

Radtke also has worked as a Director of Development for a number of institutions and nonprofit organizations including Governors State University; Glenwood School in Glenwood, Illinois; Grand Prairie Services Holding Company; and the Crisis Center for South Suburbia in Tinley Park, Illinois, and she served for four years as the Director of Leadership Giving/Development Officer for the University of St. Francis.

She is a strategic leader whose collaborative approach to fundraising and management will elevate our ability to bring transformative gifts to the College and University.”  

Radtke has a Master of Arts degree in English from Governor’s State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in English from Illinois State University.
